Life Skills Training
Challenges faced by refugees and the local community have frequently made it hard to cope and deal with everyday life.
These challenges which include unemployment, lack of education, inadequate skills, and lack of access to facilities and adequate resources, have often enabled a cycle of reoccurring social ills such as drugs, abuse, violence, gangsterism and HIV/AIDS infection, and many others.
At MRASA, we seek to make a difference in our communities by offering life skills training that will tap into their unexplored potential.
The importance and value of training and developing skills is that it creates a platform for the community especially the youth to play a role in developing the community.
We offer the following skills; tailoring, knitting, dress making, woodwork and very soon we are introducing plumbing.
